Susie Mulligan
Susie Mulligan joined Jean Peterson Design (JPD) in 2011 with a strong foundation in branding and publication design. Her professional experience encompasses magazine layout production, fashion merchandising, and in-house marketing design for an international biotech company. As a JPD creative, she works primarily on print design, with occasional web projects, and she collaborates with the Tourism Council of Frederick County on the continuing development and cultivation of their brand.
Susie, a graduate of Coker College, seeks to fuse the organic nature of fine art with clear, polished design concepts. Her charcoal drawings and oil paintings, rooted in the concept of memory and her childhood in South Carolina, have been exhibited in both Maryland and South Carolina galleries.
In 2010, Susie began donating her design talents to the Potomac Appalachian Trail Club, producing a monthly newsletter and designing a trail guidebook to Massanutten Mountain in Virginia. Her volunteerism has since expanded to working with the Delaplaine Visual Arts Education Center, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and the American Advertising Federation–Greater Frederick (AAF–GF).
In her free time, you might find Susie climbing local rock faces, seeking music with plenty of soul, and searching for the best local barbecue.
